Busy, Busy, Busy....
Well, this weekend was very relaxing. We went on a 7 hour tubing trip... thanks to Jared's great decision making! It was fun, though, and I am MUCH darker now (as hard as that is to believe). We watched Diary of a Mad Black Woman again (because I bought it), and I saw The Notebook for the first time. It was such a wonderful movie! Harry and I are just like Noah and Allie... I know we're so sappy!
I've been working in my classroom since yesterday. It was filthy, but both closets are spic and span, and I am about to rearrange my desk, the risers, and keyboard tables tomorrow. Also, a trip to School Daze is in store for Marguerite and I tomorrow (and probably Hunan's)! YAY for bulletin board supplies!
I am looking forward to increasing the stamina of the STA Choir. Hopefully we'll get 1's at District Festival and get to State Festival. I know, I have high expectations, but I'm ready to make it happen.
Last night I went to the DCI show at Memorial Stadium with Joey and Craig. The groups that were there were not at all fabulous. The Blue Devils were great, though!
It was weird being around a whole new group of students, too. I guess I'll get to know the students in this coming week during band camp. Most of them are bigger than me, too. I should just get used to it!
Alright, enough of that. I'm going to fill out LOTS of paperwork for employment/retirement now. Then, I'm watching my favorite 6 month old cousin, Christopher. What a cutie-pie!
