My reaction to livejournal at this point has gone beyond "WTF" and right into stunned silence. Seething rage is in there too but right now it's taking a backseat to me staring blankly at LJ's dumbfuckery and twitching slightly.

You can also see the picture for which one of the users was banned (in which Harry is CLEARLY not underaged, ARG I AM FULL OF RAGE) here. And the person who posted this? Was indeed banned from posting in news. Much fail livejournal, much fail. ETA: Aaaaand now they've screened the post. MUST. NOT. HULK. OUT.
Hey look, livejournal employees don't have to time to address the actual issue in news or lj_biz but they can always make time for being pissy, unprofessional bitches in other communities! And then deleting the entry later! Too bad someone had screen shots...
Interesting post about the sexist subtext of banning depictions of younger looking men in sexual situations when women are told not only that they must look like teenagers in order to be attractive but that teenagers are the most sexually appealing women out there. And as someone who's job is to rents piles of porn to old guys everyday with titles like "POV Pervert: Teenage Slumber Party!" "Teenage Cum Traps" and "Under 18 and Feeling Naughty" YES THIS IS TRUE.

By the time I commented on news, I had to go way down the page to find an entry where I actually COULD comment because so many entries have been maxed out. But anyway, my comment is around here and there's another good one about policing sexuality here.
I'll just been in the corner, slowly being driven mad by my own righteous indignation and muttering under my breath about how I'm gonna pull a Crucio on these punks.
ETA: You know, some people think the cat marcros and spamming are immature, and ok, yes. But carry on brave fandom, I pretty much think they have it coming and it delights me to see comments max out on post after post after post. Let's burn this motherfucker (i.e. news) down.
