Title: The Price You Pay
Cast: Juliet/Kate (ha), and half of Otherville.
Summary: This is a fic based on the idea that while Kate was captured by the Others she was kept in Juliet's house. So the assumption is that Ben never had cancer, therefore Jack wasn't nearly as important as he was in canon, and Jack and Sawyer managed to escape. Don't ask ( Read more... )

oh wow!! this is fantastic . I love how you've turned the tables on them so Juliet is in the position of complete power...also i love how it touches on the darkness of her character and your dialogue is super too ...cant wait to read more.

Thank you. :) I think Juliet's darker nature (and her multitude of defense mechanisms) is one of the things that makes her such an interesting character. The constantly shifting dynamic between those two is great too and I wanted to play with that a little here, so I'm glad it plays well.

Glad the dialogue works too, it was actually really fun. Alex in particular was a blast to write; miss that kid.

I wanted to let you know that I really appreciate you taking the time for an even more in depth comment like this. It genuinely does provide a little extra motivation, especially when work is being crazy and distracting. So thank you. :)

I'm glad you enjoyed the fic so much and I hope to finish the sequel pretty soon. (That one is actually longer with more plot, so that's slowing things down.)
