[There is a club. On the outside, it looks fairly normal. Dark bricks, and a discreet red sign that merely says 'Members Only'. Even the front room looks normal, except for the (classy) black sign that says 'The Velvet Room' over the side door.
It's once you get past the side door that you realize how naive you've been. After all, isn't it the most discreet places that surprise you?
There's tables, of course, and a bar. There's even a stage. But the stage has at least one pole (possibly more, depending on the show), and there's a distinct bass in the background no matter what song is playing. Some of the fancier tables have a place for dancers to perform specially for the patron. Or patrons.
So come in, sit down, and enjoy the shows. Male, female, it doesn't matter. The Velvet Room doesn't discriminate.
The painfully flamboyant, bleach blond one does, though.
Oh, and if you decide that a show isn't enough, and you want more? The Velvet Room is okay with that, too. We merely ask that you move to a private table, or the bathroom.]
