I met Nicky Brendon AKA Xander. And it wasn't the horror like I predicted last year. I was basically just like, "Hi, I'm Jamie. Nice to meet you. You were really great tonight, and also in Buffy." And he was totally nice and let me take a picture with him and I didn't make a fool out of myself or nothin'. I think I'm growing as a person.

So in what is now my yearly tradition (like last year and the year before) I went to see Nicholas Brendon in a play with the Blank Theatre Company last night. It happened to be at the same little theater where Cute with Chris Live was back in February, but on a different stage ( Read more... )

We got into Cute with Chris Live in Hollywood tonight! It was so much fun, and best of all, I now have my lucky Cute with Chris pen, which I will use for the rest of my life.

I'm going crazy. I have so much energy but at the same time I feel like I'm about to fall asleep. I never have enough sleep anymore. I never have any time. I leave my grandpa's house at 7 or 8 in the morning and I don't get back until past 11 at night. I'm at work and I just keep stalking around the lobby because I can't sit still. Acting class is SO FRUSTRATING. We have somehow come back to another form of the etudes we did for like two months last semester. Theater is pretty great again. A few weeks ago, we had to create our own monologues by recording ourselves telling an emotionally involved memory to somebody, and then typing out the speech word-for-word. I hart theater. Sooo we've been doing etudes. When we started, everyone thought they were supposed to be what the book said, little 2-minute recreations of everyday life when you're alone. But no.
