It's hard being a section leader. Harder than I expected, just from what people think you're capable of. The rookies especially kind of think I'm "that guy that never messes up" and I'm doing a *great* job of dispelling that image quickly. But still, I think they seem to like and trust me enough. Vets have told me I'm doing alright too.
Anyway, 3 more days and then a game on saturday! Then long rehearsals will be done and rookies will be considered kind of caught up to the rest of the band.
