I had my Kogan e-reader for 8 or 9 days, read a Sherlock Holmes short story, a Ngaio Marsh mystery and was half way through a Georgette Heyer book (The Black Moth) when I klutzed that gadget to the graveyard.   In less that 24 hours I'd realised how much I liked using it and how much I didn't want to carry a paper book on the bus, and in not much ( Read more... )

I've either got some gastro bug or it's the HS doing the purging, but I've had a very quiet day at home. I did do 3 loads of washing but that's about it.  I found the quilting book I got years ago in Hamilton, NZ when over on hols.  I'm going to cut up the shirts/blouses that no longer suit me (if they ever did!) and the scraps from my scrap tubs ( Read more... )
