wearing my HK facemask on Saturday made me want a hello kitty steampunk costume for Ironfest .... which is the weekend after JAFA. I already have a public lecture to attend on the Monday evening ...by actual engineers about trebuchets. How awesome is that. I'll be in Lithgow on Friday evening. 3 nights does not an entire costume make, not with my delusions of grand plans.
What I really need to do that week is make the skirt to steam up my wa-loli. The ruffle around the hem will be enough to keep me quiet. Or at least bleating about sewing ruffles.
The other day I'll wear regency.
And why do I want to make a Hello Kitty steampunk for which I don't even have fabric when I ahve other stalled steamy projects, and more importantly a regency wardrobe to complete for the weekend before it.
