what on earth was I dreaming of???
yesterday I realised that an irritated patch of skin on the bridge of my nose was getting more irritated, and that it was my specs doing it. So I looked at the specs and there was a rough scratched bit on the inside of the frames.
How did this happen?
Well it's weird sleep stuff again. At least I didn't stick my fingernail in my eyeball as I did a couple of years ago.
When I went to bed on Monday night my specs were on the granny neck cord & next to my bed. When I woke up on Tuesday, the neck cord was next to my bed but no sign of my specs. I just couldn't see them, so I went out for a bit of public holiday shopping. A little while after I got home I spotted the specs. On the kitchen window sill. {rolls eyes}
either there's a rough patch on the pottery or they went over the metal edge of the tea candle inside.
So i'm back to wearing my part-broken back up specs for good & I'll see if I can coat the scratch with something to make it not irritate my skin.
Aiyyyy if it wasn't for the re-located specs I'd never have known that i'd been up & about. I woke up feeling really refreshed!
