At a time of year when family is seen as important, I recognise yet again what great people have become my family of friends.  I'm an orphan in effect (even if not quite in fact), my only sister doesn't talk to me and I've only met my extended family (aunts/uncles/cousins) on rare occasions. Yes, I've met many people through LJ and costuming and my life would be the poorer without them.

Here's wishing you a happy and healthy Christmas season and New Year with your family of friends! Enjoy a few treats but don't overdo, that's what I plan to do at any rate, LOL.
