someone on a sewing forum I frequent thought my new job was a dud, because I'd gone silent and not mentioned it. Far from the truth, tis me that's the dud, job is good apart from so many systems & processes to learn. Plus learning the likes/dislikes/moods of 2 Partners, so that I can be a good Office Wife.
Now for not-job-related - see I'm so skittery skattery and backlogged with posts I want to blog and too benumbed to do them.
I scavenged 4 bricks to use as risers on the dining table seconded to the dungeon as a cutting out table. It was too short and my back ached after cutting anything out. These bricks do the trick beautifully - though it was suggested that I cover them in carpet to reduce the damage if I kick them with my toesies. I'm usually barefoot so this is a good idea that I'll copy.
Some good friends had already given me the old carpet from a room in his parent's house - said parents got nice new carpet and this is almost a perfect match in size. It makes the concrete floor of the dungeon so much nicer to walk on.
