Well, the zombie-zone travelling to work is over - though I'm still zombiefied. Run down & in need of a tonic is probably the verdict.
The upshot is that this saturday is the next ASG day at Rhodes and I still haven't cut out the shirt I was testing. I have half finished a new skirt in olive poly/rayon, vogue 7937. I added about 6" to the length, and I'm short! Then again maybe I'm too worried about my knees. Nope, it's looking too stout for my height.
Since the brakes have been on actual sewing, I've found it harder to resist buying fabric, although I have definitely remained in parity.
On Sunday I bought some embroidered stretch twill, on sale at Spotlight, for a skirt. the fabric is yummy and I want to wear it Right Now.
and I even went as far as to pay full price for the skirt pattern butterick 4869, and yes I am broader of beam than the artistic sketch.
And of course there was another piece of fabric that came home with me. 'Tis a cotton voile or lawn in colours too tempting - they suit me and I'd be mad to walk away from this on sale.
