Project Registration: Mary Magdalene Chocolateier JSK replica and VM Goblin Skirt Replica
Project Title : Mary Magdalene Chocolatier JSK replica in Navy.
Short Project Description: A replica of one of my dream JSKs. I have the proper fabrics that were given to me for free so why not make it right?
Projected Deadline: None really. Hopefully before winter break is over which is around January 8th.
Pattern(s) Used: None drafting my own.
Materials needed: Scroll Braid decorative trim, invisible zipper, grommets for corseting the back and cord for the lacing.
Challenges or obstacles: Drafting the skirt but I hope the shape the panels on my Saint Clare OP will help me with that. I have also never lined anything completely on my own, but the only way to learn is just do it right? And of course figuring out the measurements. (math is not my thing by any means!)
Project Title : Victorian Maiden Goblin Skirt Replica
Short Project Description: I have always admired this skirt after seeing a friend of mine wear it. I will have enough fabric after the replica above left over to make it myself.
Projected Deadline: Again none. Just hoping before winter break is over.
Pattern(s) Used: None just drafting from a very similar skirt that I already have.
Materials needed: Invisible zipper, lace, cording for the the lacing, and more silk for lining it.
Challenges or obstacles: Again lining and measurements.
And the materials I already have (I promise the velvet is Navy not black :D although it could pass for black it is so dark! ) :
