Hi! Remember me? I make stuff. Here's a crapton of stuff I made over the past month.
No fanarts this time: it's all original content.
I drew this for my mum, then went to Kinkos to have it printed to give to her for Christmas. I fussed with sizes until the last minute, so the print was non-standard measurements. Final print is glossy and measures 15 and a quarter-something by 24 inches.
Unfinished werewolf. I think I dislike most portrayals of werewolves in modern media. To me, the ideal werewolf resembles neither an actual wolf nor a furry, and doesn't move like a biped, but sort of... postures like one? It made sense in my head, at least.
Months ago, I posted some pixel cities I made for a game my boyfriend is working on. The total set is of five different types depending on the terrain they're built on. These are the final two. :)
Currently, I am working on a more realistic character model. I've always made low-poly models in the past, but this time I wanted to try making something more detailed.
I'm quite happy with the face at this point because she is beginning to look like a real person (with her small eyes and elongated nose) rather than a typical videogame ho.
Hooray for what I hope are vaguely realistic proportions?
I just added these boots in tonight.
(The seam down the middle, if you were wondering, is because I am constantly mirroring geometry and so I am splitting the model and recombining it again multiple times. I'll weld it back together once I'm actually done, but I've a long way to go before that happens.)
Valistil doodle time. I drew Rasalas.
Then I drew Rasalas/Everett, because durhurhur slash archetype of choice.
I could also post photos of the LIVING ROOM FULL OF LEGO THINGS that Nic and I have built over the past week, but that can probably wait for another time.
Aside from this dump, I've got some other projects on the back burner that are close to being passably ready. Hope I'll be able to share them soon.
What else? I just finished reading Ender's Game, and seriously. I should have read this book years ago, when all the cool kids were telling me to.
Up next I need to read the second and third books in the Hunger Games series. They have been sitting on my shelf since the move and I still haven't picked them up. D:
