Just got done watching a really cute film, and since I'd never even heard of it before, I thought I'd pimp.
The movie is TiMER, and stars Emma Caulfield of Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame.
The entire cast just makes me go d'awww. And really, that's what quirky romance movies should be like. It's not dumb, it's got an original premise, and watching it made me very happy. :)
On another note, here is a short film made by Joseph Gordon-Levitt:

Very poignant look at the paparazzi from the other side of the lens, I thought.
I neglected to mention yesterday, but I'm really glad to hear the judicial vote against prop 8 went through.
I know most everyone I'm friends with here on LJ agrees with me, so I won't rant too much, but how the hell people still think it's okay to deny same-sex couples the right to marry is pretty far beyond me.
I fear the US is going to keep going back and forth on this one for a long long time.
I still do not understand the "changing the definition of marriage" problem. Does the average citizen really know the full definition of marriage? Doubtfully. And a definition is supposed to evolve alongside the society which defines it. If it didn't, wives would still be the legal property of their husbands. >:/
I do not want to live in a world where definitions are constant and unchanging.
