Lithography is quite the workout! I walked up to the visual arts department from my house today and ground down my stone ready to be drawn on on Tuesday. The hardest part for me was surprisingly not moving the heavy stones and large metal tools around, but fanning the stone dry after rinsing off all the grit. D:
A year or more after the fact, I'm finally following kaitoukat's recommendation and watching Princess Tutu.
I really like it so far, for a combination of reasons. I like the slight melancholy, and the feeling of creeping ominousness. I like that despite that, it can be light-hearted. I like that it's not a generic magical-girl anime. I also sometimes like stories about animals who wished they could become human, and stories where you aren't quite sure whether or not the main character is being deceived. (I'm only a few episodes in, so my perceptions may be entirely off here.)
I can't get my DS to connect to my wireless network because I have no idea what my WEP key is. My router uses a password with an encryption code instead of a standard key, and the network management software won't tell me what the generated hex code for said key is. (That sentence will only sound impressive to those of you who don't know network protocol - I'm really way out of my depth here.)
Also Nintendo are stupid and make the mini-USB socket on their products incompatible with regular mini USB adapters (even though the pins are the same), which means you have to buy their official adapter, which costs $50! It's just a freaking tiny little cable! asdfghjkl;
Long story short: my sister and I want to trade Pokemon long-distance, but neither of us can connect to the network. :'(
I found the source website for those adorable Pokemon cosplay fanarts that I mentioned a post or two ago! The artist has done so many cute drawings so far. I'm really hoping s/he finishes the series.
My favourite right now is actually Typhlosion, because kudos are in order for taking a monster I don't much care for and making an awesome Final Fantasy ref out of it. ♥
