thanksgiving break was just okay. i had a cold and i didn't do much really. but it was nice to not go to work and school for a few days. i got a haircut and now my hair is not as long and that makes me sad, but it's black and blonde again. thursday is brendan's 21st birthday! i seriously can't wait because i have all this nice stuff planned out for him. plus we are having a birthday party for him on saturday! hopefully everyone brings $20 so we can get him an orange tiny terror. i am a little worried because a lot of people are supposed to come and i'm not sure what we are going to do!
i remember how great brendan's birthday was last year. it's been a whole year since we said i love you, which sounds totally gay of me, and i only remember because it was on his birthday. i just can't get over how everything worked out between us. we've gone through some really tough stuff, but it was totally worth it. i look at him sometimes when he doesn't know it and i think to myself how did i get so lucky?? lately i would get upset if we didn't hang out or do anything special anymore. i know we've been dating for a long time, but i still think we should do special stuff. i know he works a lot and he is trying to fit in everything with his band too, so i really have learned to just be patient. things have been so much better when i don't get worried about these things so i am hoping to stick with it!
this is my last week of classes! i have three finals this week and two next week. on wednesday i will be going to parris island, sc to see britton graduate from USMC. i can't wait to see him and bring him home for christmas!! what a great way to start break. this has been a tough semester, but i am looking forward to graduating soon and all my sick classes next semester. i finished all seven harry potter books and my life feels empty now that it's over. my newest dilemma is if i should take this 2 month long music industry internship in NYC in the summer. i have until 12/17 to decide. anyways, i can't wait to be done next tuesday and i can't wait for a whole month off from school!!
