I am so behind the times
So twistinside82 has been bugging me to get Yahoo Messenger for a year. At least. And I've been like "but all the people from my former fandom use AIM whine whine" even though I haven't actually seen any of those people online in, oh, months and months and months. So anyway, I finally got YM. And are Liz or Jo online? Nooooo.
But LAUNCHCAST. Oh my god how fun. I programmed some of my choices and then it's giving me all these other hits by similar people and it's like a little slice of '80's heaven. So far tonight I've listened to Howard Jones, Talk Talk, Depeche Mode, and Kate Bush. I also love that you can put in that "never play again" option -- take that, Owner of a Lonely Heart.
Anyway. Yeah. I get my computer back and nobody is online to play with me. And I have to leave for work in an hour, so there's not much time to actually DO anything. Oh, but tonight is my LAST FRIDAY NIGHT SHIFT. YAY YAY YAY!!! *does dance of joy with extended arm movements*
