Kids, Lost, Music
So today the family went to my sister's place to celebrate birthdays. Four children (ages 6, 5, 3, 2) two teenagers, and 6 adults in two rooms. Yikes. Day went well but kids are loud, man. Yeah they are just being *kids* but I was soooo ready to get home to my nice quiet peaceful apartment. I love living alone. LOVE.
In other news, I have bowed to intense peer pressure and have borrowed Amy's S1 Lost DVD's. I've seen up to Ep.116 so far.
I like Sawyer much more now that I've seen more of his backstory, coz what I saw of him in the two S2 eps I saw made me really dislike him. Also, he is cuter with clean hair. He and Kate have a lot of sexual tension -- she fits with him so much more than Jack.
Jack tries to be so goody-two-shoes and he is arrogant and mean, people. Mean. They *tortured* Sawyer! Once you torture somebody, you're kind of irredeemable in my eyes. Of course, Sayid also did the actual torture, and I still like him. Perhaps this is because he is a) truly sorry for his actions, b) ashamed of himself for behaving the way he did, and c) very very very hot.
Charlie is adorable, but my fave character by far is Hurley. I still haven't got to his backstory. I should watch a couple more eps tonight to find out what his story is.
I want Kate to die.
I know there's lots of slash fic written for this show, but the only twinges of m/m sexual tension I can possibly see if I squint a little are Boone/Locke. And I really don't ever want to read Locke fic. Ever.
When Kate and Sawyer play that "I Never" drinking game... and Sawyer says "I never kissed a man" and then doesn't drink, I was all DAMN. Heh.
It irritates me how things are dropped randomly. Like for several eps it's all OMG WE CAN'T GO IN THE JUNGLE THE MONSTER IS OUT THERE and then for several eps it's LA LA LA LET'S GO PICK BERRIES ALONE IN THE JUNGLE and then suddenly it's BUT WAIT THERE'S A FLESH EATING MONSTER. Um. Pick one and go with it.
Um yeah, I might like Sawyer a lot now.
