Wednesday Reading Meme
What I Just Finished Reading: Only one book this week, Horde by Ann Aguirre. Still struggling to figure out how to fit in walking/exercise, work, and all the other stuff that makes up daily life, + reading!
What I'm Reading Right Now: I finally came to the top of the list after waiting months for System Collapse, the latest Murderbot story... which I am not loving. *sigh*
What I'm Planning to Read Next: I have two library books out, but I may set them aside and read something on my kindle or one of Amy's books from downstairs (which she said I could borrow.) So... I don't know!
07. Horde by Ann Aguirre
With the mutant horde getting larger and bolder, Deuce realizes that she has to take the battle to the freaks if she wants to find any kind of peace for the settlements in this fun and exciting conclusion to the Razorland trilogy. Meanwhile, Fade is dealing with PTSD from his time as a prisoner and Stalker struggles with his past and his affection for Deuce.
This one starts off a little slow, but the action picks up fast and furious soon enough and doesn’t really let up. Watching Deuce set off into the world was fascinating. I loved watching the formation of her army and the growing respect and love she got from the people she led, and the action sequences were exciting. Loved both the new and old faces and the growth of all the characters. A fitting send-off to an entertaining series.
