Let's Get Healthy: The Sequel!

Hello all. Well, the weather is getting cooler here and the humidity is gone, so it's time to (literally) get back on the stationary bike and out there on the streets walking regularly again. Woot woot! Who's with me??

My goal when the humidity hit and I had to curtail my walking significantly was to stay within 5 lbs of my last weight, and I'm pleased to say that I did it! I actually was within about 2 lbs until a couple of weeks ago. I didn't do the bike at all during the summer but I did get out and walk on some days when the humidity wasn't crazy. I didn't count calories but I did still keep a general eye on what I was eating and not go crazy (very often. LOL) I'm so pleased that, at this weight at least, I was able to maintain. Hope everyone else stayed on track as well!

I'm going to do my Let's Get Healthy updates and weigh-ins on Sundays this time around, just because that's easier for me for tracking purposes.

Yesterday I walked to the Walmart to get one round of healthy groceries, but I couldn't fit everything in my little trundle buggy. I even had to take a bus home because it was just too heavy. Today I'm off to get the rest of my groceries, and there are no buses on Sundays so I will be walking there and back. Yay!

My goal this round is 38 lbs (just because I like that number that I end up with.) Then there'll be a little break again and then round 3.

WE CAN DO THIS!!
