MUSIC MONDAY
Today the heat wave finally broke, woot woot! After a full week where the temperature hovered around 40C/104F with crazy humidity, last night we had a brief storm and today.. there was a breeze. *shock* And the temperature was 23C/73F. Hallelujah! I was finally able to get to the cemetery and check on the flowers, which are doing great. My calves were not happy with me for walking, though. Just goes to show how quickly the body forgets about all that great exercise.
Of course, the temperature is supposed to go back up on around 38C/100F with that humidity back on Wednesday, but I'm not going to think about that right now.
I've been super busy and haven't had a chance to check my flist, but I hope to get back to you all on Tuesday or Wednesday!
Last time I was visiting with my sister we were talking about music from the '70s. She turned 20 in 1974 and I know that now she listens to '50s/'60s music (and Elvis) but I realized I didn't know what she listened to in her youth. Turns out the answer was "'50s and '60s music". I kept saying, "But what about this-person and what about that-band" and she didn't know who any of them were! *shakes head*
So for today's Music Monday, a couple of classics from T.Rex!
