Music Monday!
I ended up having the day off today because it's an American holiday and the company I get my transcription files from is American. The temperature has been 34C/93F for about 8 hours straight now. I got up early and walked to the Walmart to get a good chunk of my grocery shopping done, thinking that I'd beat the heat. I was so wrong. And then when I checked online to find that there was no work, I decided what the heck, I'll go and get the rest of the shopping! Lemme tell ya, it is HOT. Between the two walks I ended up walking 12 kms today! My feet are sore. LOL Now I've had my second shower, watched the latest ep of Celebrity Apprentice Australia (go Ronnie!), and now am looking to relax.

There are so many fantastic songs to pick from Kirsty MacColl, an amazing talent who horrifically lost her life when she saved her son's life by pushing him to safety and throwing herself into the path of a speeding boat that had entered the boat-prohibited diving space where she and her sons were scuba diving while on holiday in Mexico. She was so ridiculously talented and funny.
