Rumple/Belle Mini Fanmix
Challenge #05 at tv_universe was to make a mini-fanmix with cover. Urgh. I don't really think in terms of music when I ship (or watch a TV show or movie or whatever) -- I don't even really listen to much of the music that's out today, being firmly and happily stuck with music that was made prior to, say, 1990 -- and I really admire the people that come up with amazing mixes. And I don't make graphics either, so needless to say this was a difficult one... which explains the cheesy cover and old tunes.
1. Two Steps Behind by Def Leppard
There's a magic running through your soul

Whatever you do, I'll be two steps behind
This is how I imagine Belle thinking of Rumple, after their initial parting and her adventure with the yaoguai. She knows even before she leaves his castle that he does love her and knows how conflicted he is, and she's not giving up on him. She'll be there.
2. Who Loves You by The Four Seasons
When you're feeling like you'll never see the morning light
Come to me, baby you'll see
Though the song is from a male's POV, this is another Belle-to-Rumple song. She is his light, and when he can't find his way out of the darkness by himself, she'll be his guide. *happy sigh*
3. I Remember You by Skid Row
I said I'd give my life for just one kiss
I'd live for your smile and I'd die for your kiss
Rumple does learn his lessons. I can't help but wonder what would have happened had Regina not been lying about the scourges and had Rumple actually been able to welcome Belle home as he so clearly longed to do. I am thinking that Belle would have helped Rumple deal realistically with Bae's loss and then there would have been a lot of scrambling to undo all of Rumple's past machinations. The romantic in me just believes.
4. Making Memories of Us by Keith Urban
And I'm gonna love you like nobody loves you
And I'll earn your trust making memories of us
Happy Ever After in Storybrooke. I need Belle to never give up on him. I need Rumple to earn her trust. It has to happen, doesn't it?
On a completely unrelated note: hooooo boy Sebastian Bach was so flippin' hot.
