Goals and Photos
One of my goals for 2013 is to comment/respond/reply/pay attention more in these parts. I know that it can be hard to feel connected to an online community and want to continue to play in it when all around you people are wondering "aloud" whether everyone is leaving/fandom is changing. Yes, people are leaving and yes, fandom is changing. But also people are joining and change can be for the better. I firmly believe that LJ (or any online forum or blog) is what you make it. I've found some new interesting things to do here in LJland -- I am seriously looking forward to this tvrealm thing -- and I'll be sticking around. I hope y'all do, too! And I'll be trying to pay more attention to my flist and respond to your posts/send you good vibes/give you a shoulder to cry on when you're down. *nods*
I also wanted to say thanks for the new vgifts that have shown up on my profile page! Thank you to ayesakara, bodleian and an anonymous user for the yummy these-are-so-Daryl's-christmas-gingerbread men, and to spike7451 for the fab NYE noisemaker. You all rock!
And lastly, day two of photo-a-day!
Cassie often lies on the arm of the sofa while I'm doing my workout on the stationary bike. The bike is right next to the sofa, angled toward the TV. So I watch an episode of something (today it was the first ep of S3 of Boardwalk Empire -- don't spoil me!) and I lean over and pet her while I'm biking. She's not giving me the evil eye here -- well... maybe she IS, actually. I had just been rubbing that area between her ear and eye (she loves that) and had stopped to take the photo. :D
