I need YOUR recs!
Snowflake Challenge, Day 11: Ask for recs. Something as simple as "I like XYZ (where XYZ is a kink, a pairing, a trope, etc) - please rec me some."
Since the Live Free or Die Hard and The Walking Dead fandoms are pretty damn tiny, I'm pretty sure I've read everything that interests me! (Actually, in regard to LFoDH, I know I have.)
So, my flist, give me your recs for Supernatural fanfic! That fandom is gigantic (practially as big as Jared himself) and so far, I've used a few rec lists to find the good stuff. I like Dean/Cas only (no Wincest or J2 please), any rating. I prefer the type of stuff that is either canon or starts from a canon-base before going AU (ie. Dean is a hunter, Cas is an angel.) Soooo, any SPN fans on my flist? Tell me what your favourite stories are! Please? :)

In discussing writerly stuff with Snick in an attempt to keep my writing on track (something necessary for my sanity) the conclusion was reached that I require prompts (no surprise, have known that for a while) and challenges-with-a-due-date (knew I liked challenges, realizing they had to have concrete end dates was a bit of an eye-opener. Funny how some stuff just doesn't click in your head until someone else points it out.) So I've made it a point to sign up for a few things already this year. So, for my own benefit:
Writing Status Update
1. smallfandomfest -- 3 stories, minimum 1K each, due January 31st. (Have written and posted one. Halfway through the second.)
2. smallfandombang -- 1 story, minimum 10K. First draft due January 31st. (Have index-card-ed the major points. Just need a chunk of time to sit down and write. Plan to start that this Saturday.)
3. getyourwordsout -- 1 story, minimum 15K, due June 30th. (Nada.)
Doesn't look too bad.
