Writing and Archiving
We are now 17 days into the month and I have written a grand total of 1035 words. WTF? I am completely 1000% stuck on my oz_big_bang fic. I've got 14K written on it, and I hate the lives I've given the characters. I can see a partial way out of it, but that'll make Toby morose and I don't want THAT either. I've tried to just struggle on and write what I originally intended, but I hate it. It BORES ME. And I don't have another 25K idea. I just don't. I have tendrils of beginnings, no idea where they'd go to become fic. Which is, yes, basically what I used to do with Nano. But THIS CURRENT FIC is also what I used to do with Nano, and it's not working.
I don't know what to do. I don't want to drop out because a. I'm not a quitter, and b. I CAN DO THIS. But the deadline is breathing down my neck and I am just at a loss. *throws up hands*
So... I've been using my free time to archive my QaF fic at Archive of Our Own. So far I've put up 280 stories. That's NUTS. There's still 50 Gapfillerpalooza stories to be posted, and all of the Multi-Chapter Stories. Then I have to decide which of my older fandom stuff I want up there. *whew*
I keep getting emails asking where such-and-such story can be found. The link to my page on the Archive is at the top of my LJ, but again, it's here: Severina's Fic. If you click on "My Works" at the side, it'll take you to a page that lets you filter by Fandom. And you can also put the fic name in the search box to find a specific story.
I think I'll watch a movie now. Then maybe I'll try to write something non-Oz-related.
