I am loving my weekends now that warm weather is here. I am getting out and doing (free) things; doing lots of walking. The only thing that sucks is that it gets to be about this time (8pm) and I just want to relax for a few hours before bed, and then I remember that I have to be at work in 3 hours!

I also have to stay up in the morning until the doctors office opens because I have a specialist appointment on Tuesday and I can't remember where it is! I swear, the receptionist is going to think I'm the dumbest person on the planet.

Watched Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals on Friday. What a game! I was a hockey fan from practically as young as I can remember until the mid-90's or so, and watching the game I suddenly remembered why I liked it so much. I was a Leafs fan and because I was also a huge Mario Lemieux fan I was also a Penguins fan. It's actually difficult to be a Leafs fan because the team often, frankly, sucks ass. I also tend to be a fan of the people as opposed to the team. I can go through lineup changes and trades but after a point it was like that wasn't "my" team anymore.

Anyway, how exciting to see Mario hoist the Stanley Cup. I was all giddy for him.

I said a while back that I was going to do a flist cut... and then I never did. I'm going to get on that soon. No offense to anyone who I cut... I'm trying to get my flist to a reasonable reading level. My journal is never flocked so even if I cut you, you will still be able to read my posts.

  • Walked 50 minutes (grocery store and return), very good pace -- 2.32 miles
  • Walked 50 minutes (mall and return), very good pace -- 2.36 miles
  • Walked 70 minutes (pharmacy, grocery store, and return), very good pace -- 2.90 miles

    #49 - Drink no more than 1 can of Pepsi/day for one month

    #56 - Lose 50 pounds
    [13/50] Lost 3 pounds this week, bringing my total to 13 pounds in 17 days. Very happy with my progress here this week, especially since I went out to a restaurant to celebrate Jen's birthday, had a daiquiri, and had a lot of water retention. Whoo!
