Of course duty always got in the way of any sort of life I wanted to have. Even though I never liked Buffy much part of me could understand her at times now. Never had this sort of power before so didn’t understand the responsibility that came along with it. I wanted to just be able to spend the night with Willow. Just talking to her and being with

“Dawn called,” I rambled to Kennedy as an explanation while studying the stick thingy. It looked so simple. “She, Giles and Xander were checking out houses and it seems they found the perfect one except its got a ghost!” I actually bounced in my seat a little at that. Cause lets be honest, things were boring here. I guess that after growing up on the Hellmouth things easily seem boring. Sunnydale had been anything but boring, even if it was a big fat crater in the ground now.
Heck, I even got excited about Angel and the rest coming here. Was kinda sad I wasn’t there to meet them at the airport. Not like they knew Buffy. Well, aside from Angel and Wes then. But Fred and Gunn and Lorne didn’t. But Faith was there, so I guess it was okay. They knew her from the whole Angelus thing.
“So I’m going over there to check things out!” Finally getting the car to move, I drove away from the curb, wincing when it made a rather loud screeching noise. I waved my way into the traffic, which wasn’t very busy. So what that guy behind me felt the need to honk his horn, I got no idea. “What?” I muttered out loud, giving him a curious look and then gasping when he gave me the middle finger. “How rude.”

"A ghost?" I give her a look. I've heard about a lot of things in my time and fought a good amount to but a ghost. Usually just demons and vampires and stuff like that. "So what do you have to do some sort of exorcism?"
If that was the case then I knew she was just the right woman to do such. Ok so she wasn't a priest or anything which I thought that’s how they did it but she was the most powerful woman I've ever seen.
I couldn't help but giggle a bit with how she acted when the guy give her the finger. She looked so cute as she made a little pouty face. It was just another thing that I was loving about her.

“I dunno,” I shrugged, when she asked about the exorcism. “From the sound of Dawnie’s voice I think she kinda liked the ghost. Maybe it’s a good one, who knows? I mean, it’s possible. Cordy used to tell me about her ghost, Dennis. He was a good guy, once they got rid of his mom and stuff. So it could be one of those. I mean, it’s so typical us to have a haunted house. It might be neat!”
Taking a deep gulp of air, I grinned over at her, as I finally got the hang of this gear…shift…stick…thing. Well, almost. Still, who invented those cars?! Why were there cars like this when automatic cars did perfectly well? I just knew Giles had to have rented these things. Him and his European Car obsession. I’m so gonna tell him what I think about *that*.
I fumbled into my pocket, pulling out the address Dawn had given me while peering around. Could peer around all I wanted to, not like I actually recognize anything now is it? “That’s the address,” I said, pointing at the scarp of paper I’d thrown on the dashboard. “And I’m not sure where to go,” I added a bit sheepish.

"Ok so ghost being good is good then."
She then pointed to the small piece of paper she had on the dashboard, telling me that was the address. "Let me see" I say as I grab the paper and read the address.
I think about what it says for a minute before I realize the street we are coming up to "QUICK!" I shout "make a left here! This should lead us right to the house."
Even if this ghost wasn’t a friendly ghost I wasn’t worried. I knew I could take on anything and especially with her by my side I could. The two of us had to be one of the best teams around.
