slowly i am understanding the phrase "pace of innovation" and the concepts which drive the notion of "pace". the threshold, or capacity, of any pace is rooted in it's ability to be dissected, distributed, and delegated -- the actual constituents of any given task should hold as little deviation of weight as possible, as to ensure the averaged performance of a system, for roughly 80% of all tasks -- the 20% left over, of the heavily weighted tasks, must be performed by those individuals which have the qualities and attributes of the system they are so completely integrated into, coupled with a threshold, or capacity, of pace of the whole. to identify and degrade these tasks is to relinquish a position worthy of the power it offers, offering the leverage instead to small group that conceived of this rearrangement in the first place. lesson number one, preserve the status quo of power and distribution of wealth.
