Work and Fic is all my life is, so that's all you get
Work was good today. Exhausting, but good. Busy, but no issues. Everyone behaved themselves, people had real library-related and reference questions. I got all the back-issues newspaper shifted. And that was what was really tiring. I mean, why must we subscribe to so many papers???
At least let's stop getting "The Chicago Sun-Times" and "Barron's." I don't know who the fuck is reading "Barron's" and I hate the Sun-Times. It barely counts as news. Our subs come in the mail, and is the most sporadic, and have a tendency to come through the mail completely FUBAR.
Look forward to a decent Sunday. The Packers play at 3:15, so that'll mean a really super busy first couple of hours, but then things will slow the fuck down before closing. Seriously, better to be busy early than at closing. I keep asking for a cattle prod to help get patrons moving out, but I never get one. I never get a segue either. Apparently "not in our budget."
