So much for normalcy...
Just got my insurance statements. BlueCross, mind you, is paying FAR less than I will be. My bill? Basically $1K. And the drugs are going to run $60/month on top of the rest of what I take. This is nuts. I don't agree with nationalized medical care by any means but I think that there should be a way that the money I paid for the last 15 years and had not even a check-up visit because I was that healthy should somehow count towards now. I am becoming a far larger believer in the health savings account method. This really burns me.
