Normalcy (I hope)

So, the tests are done, and I am glad that you only have to do this one every 10 years.  Prep was the worst.  Couldn't eat diddley for two days and nothing all day yesterday.  And this stuff you drink.  I was running an actual fever from it.  The last glass was the worst.  Anyways, got up this morning to go and get checked.  I've never been knocked out and I was already goofy from the lack of food and now water.  The aneasthetician was so chirpy when he saw my mouth was dry.  I wanted to punch him.

They finally administered the IV which I could smell and taste for the 10 second of conciousness I had left.  Woke to find my parents there and got some of my senses back to me within a few minutes.  The outcome?

No cancer.  VERY good.  No other growths.  EXCELLENT.  Found the problem with my stomache for the last 9 months (they are 90% certain), and I have the drugs for it.  Drugs to fix vs surgery = BEST NEWS!

So, I'm eating again and if these meds work, I will finally be heading back towards a sense of normalcy.
