Cinco de Mayo

I am at home on the last weekend of school, missing out on whatever festivities/drunken orgies might be occuring. It breaks my heart. But I had better things to which to attend.

As of today, I have now applied to a dozen different businesses in Hendersonville, and have only heard back from one: Cracker Barrel. Waffle House doesn't know what they're doing; I called about the interview they offered, and told me to meet with someone named Thelma at 11:00 today, but when I showed up, this mysterious Thelma was not there and I was rudely chased out. So, forget them.

Those country-music-lovin' cowpokes over at the Cracker Barrel would like a second interview on Wednesday, and I'm pretty confident they're going to offer me a job. It's full-time, it'll be steady (last summer I never knew when I was going to have to go in for work, and it sucked), and a lot of my friends work there. I just don't know if I can handle eight hours of yodeling every day. Oh, well. I'm just after the best offer, as I am desperate.

Anyway, feliz Cinco de Mayo, everyone! Now, be educated.
