HONG KONG

So I haven't even been in HK for a week yet but it seems like we've done so much
We explored Sham Shu Po (the district we live in)it's the old person ghetto, its kinda ridiculous, I don't fell unsafe but I'd really rather not walk around at night w/o one of the boys or the group of girls...we renamed the area as Sham Shu Stank for it's beautiful odor
We went to Lamma and hiked across it (there happen to be 2 small mountains along the way)visited a temple,a pub, a beach and ate really good seafood
we bought cell phones and routers and essentials
we went to Victoria Peak (the highest point on HK Island)it was gorgeous, although I found the tram ride down terrifying (poor Sean called me just and it started getting crazy steep and I legit screamed... he was unhappy with me when we all met up later)
we started working on our project, our guy at the WWF is pretty much awesome, his name is Tobi and he has basically been working with these fishermen in Mai Po by himself for 7 year and now he has groups of students to help him (us and a team from HKUST)
... we finished a consumer survey that we're going to start giving out at a street fair on Saturday then Sunday we're meeting with the Slowfoods group and visiting Mai Po for the 2st time. So since we have to work this weekend we took today and tomorrow to ourselves. Tomorrow is a beach day!
Last night was Ladies Night in Wan Chai, We (the girls) drank for free all night... the boys kept threatening to leave but we didn't care we were happy... of course they were full of shit and stayed with us. I thought I was the one getting poured into bed last night but I'm fine and everyone else is hungover. I win!
There was some potential drama brewing last night....I'm worried b/c we're less than a week in..
PEOPLE.. so there's 21 of us total but there's different group at different times
My Project Team... Kate, Dimos, Brandon and me ("our boys" = Dimos and Brandon)
"The Girls"... Kate, Olga, Shannon, me and Sarah (Sarah sometimes opts out)
"The Boys"(Core)...Brendan, Curtis, Bach, Dimos, Minh
"The (sometimes) Boys" (Slightly less likely to be involved with whatever mischive the boys are up to).... Sean, Craig, Brandon, Mike (occasionally)
"The Good/Chill/Quiet Kids" Norman, Craig, Khanvhan, Andre, Patrick, Neal, Mike
Others: Katy (would really like to be one of the girls but she works with Olga and Shannon and they get to the point where they need to get away from her.. Sarah and I try to include her some times)...Dan (he's just very pompous and that offends people he didn't seem to want to spend time with everyone but then came to dinner the other night...he's very much against drinking so there are times he feels uncomfortable)
