So this weekend my mom came into town. She got here on Friday morning. I had friday off, so I went to pick her up and we then ate lunch at Panera's and then looked around the shops in that shoping center. We then went to go look at more shops in Danvers. I got alot of cool things. After that we stoped by my apartment for about 1/2 hour so my mom could get some perspective on what I am trying to furnish. Then we went up to Salem NH to go shopping and to pick up some more stuff.
On Saturday we stayed in and waited for the movers to come. They came at 10:45 and were gone by 11:15. The only bad thing is that one of the guys had on this spring shoes and happened to leave some spots on the floor. The guy came back fifteen minutes after he left with some resolve to clean the carpet. After he was finished with that we went to the outlet malls in Kittery, Maine. The mall is fantastic. I spent a lot of money but I got some really good finds. I like everything I bought there and on a positive note I now have pots. Shopping occupied the majority of the day.
On Sunday we went downtown to go a church my mom had looked up on the web. Its was fun once we got there. I got lost getting there on a quick note map quest gives crappy directions that are unnecessarily confusing. After church we meet up with a friend of my mom's from work. We eat lunch for about three hours and then walked back to here place and then we went home.
Monday was a good day. My mom and her friend went to Cape Anne without me, a very nice birthday present. It was nice to have some space to myself. I went shopping and got more stuff at Wal-Mart. It nice when they have the college goods clearance sales, I've gotten a lot of cool things for less than what I thought they would be. When my mom and her friend got back we went to dinner at Cracker Barrel. The dinner was very good; however I got food poisoning from it. :( What a crapy way to end a birthday.
Let’s leave Monday out of the story.
Today been a good day. I'm actually doing work and I'm now off to go get a cell phone that hopefully gets good reception in my apartment.
