People seem to have this idea that cooking is some kind of an innate skill. You’re either born with it or not. Or something.

Apparently I can't follow instructions. I'm terrible at cooking, and I do feel that I have little natural skill at it.

People think cooking from scratch is hard - especially a cake. And it does take skill to make it look so pretty!
