I'm three chapters into The Drowning Girl: A Memoir by Caitlín R. Kiernan, which is around a fourth of the book. I'm enjoying it a lot, the comparisons it's drawn to the work of Shirley Jackson seeming rather appropriate for the tone of the first person narrative.
