Also upcoming events for me:

I think this means that I really need to stop quilting and clean up my sewing area to get going on costumes. Ack.
Costumes (for competition)
2011.01.13 - the current plan is to produce two assassin recruit costumes (master version, in Assassin White) for Sakura Con, with potentially others to come if I get more people to drag along with me to other conventions this year.
Karaoke (for competition)
Requires two songs - determined ahead of time, but able to be changed up until check in at the con.
Round 1 - 2:30 max
"Kanata" runs until about 2:35 for a really good breaking point (or stops around 1:30)
Kanon's "Niji" breaks well at 1:32 or around 3:06 (but there is a bridge that could be trimmed to save about 16 seconds (1:32-1:48) Still pushing it.
"Brave" (c/w off of Tomiko Van's "Flower" single) - again, one break at 1:31 - and at 2:49. Possible awkward break at 2:10, but it would break right on a swell and before the chorus. Similar potential at 2:36 if the editing could manage it.)
"Kaze no Mukou e" - has a great back up track on the karaoke version, but the rap doesn't quite break before or after 2:30 and it's a bit repetitive with the rap chopped out.
"Beautiful Days" - Break around 1:45, or at 1:25 (which is again on a swell before a chorus)
"Monster" Clean break at 2:14 - though the disadvantage of being one I don't know like the back of my hand yet, and me not having multiple voices.
Round 2 - 5 minutes max
