Wheee!

Ok... it's been a rather nice two days since last I wrote.
My body has proven to me yet again that everything can be explained by hormones. I've also lost 5800+ yen worth of CDs, which pisses me off... but after a day and a half of trying to get my brain to deal with it.
My fingers are really tired... so I don't think I'll type much.

Last night:
I got talking to Tammy and Jen after dinner... first about other ryugakusei (we looked through the photo-list that otousan has of all the students) and then later we talked about TeniPuri. Yes, I have at last fallen into the trap. See, they sent me over to real_world_teni (the TeniPuri RP they are in) about two days ago... and I got hooked. Without even knowing the characters at all. It's so horribly wrong... and it was just what I needed at the time. So... I started talking with them about stuff. And Kat came down after a while and joined in a bit. Jen took off to work or sleep, but Tammy, Kat and I kept on. Between ranting about voice actors and bishounen, it was around 11:30 when I brought down the PS2 and some DVDs and we started watching things. We went through bits of NeoRoma and Weiss for Yuuki Hiro's girlishness and Koyasu's pain. Then we watched bits of Nao-kun's DVD and then the TeniPuri fan disc that Tammy has. It was really pretty... and I love Okiayu Ryoutaro's singing voice. *glomps Tezuka and runs away*
After that we put in the DVD of the second TeniPuri musical. We watched the curtain call first... Kimeru is /amazing/ and "You Got Game?" is a great song. ^_^ Anyway, at this point it was maybe 1:30 or approaching 2 AM. Kat, like a logical person might, decided to go to bed. Tammy and I watched the entire musical. It was /good/... or atleast it was filled with gorgeous boys moving all over the stage and singing and performing acrobatics that may at some point have been vaguely related to tennis. Whatever. Tezuka was HOT! As was Fuji... and Kimeru as Ryouma... and Inui... and... Ok, I'll stop. Yeah, the cast were mostly the most attractive boys I've seen yet in Japan... and then could /sing/ too! Anyway... after that we chatted about the actors, and characters, and seiyuu, and manga, and other stuff... until about 4 AM. Then we decided that sleep was important and headed upstairs.
I say headed... because we made it to the landing between the second and third floors before the current topic - Yami no Matsuei - led me to mention scribblemoose, and how she's gotten me hooked on Tatsumi/Tsuzuki where I used to like Muraki/Tsuzuki much more. Tammy then went on a long and involved rant/story of the one and only plausible and beautifully written Muraki/Tatsumi fic on the net. When she finished, I wanted to cry (the story was so sweet and sad)... and it was 5 AM. We finally went upstairs, she had to wake up Jen because the door to thier room was locked, but all was ok in the end. I brushed my teeth and then went to sleep in the pre-dawn light to the sound of birds singing.
I dropped my CD player yesterday... it thinks it's open all the time now... and won't play. I am /not/ happy about that.

Today...
I slept 'till 1. Woke up from a dream about subways/trains and going to the Tsutaya to explain the missing CDs... to have Kat tell me that it was 1 and she'd been to school and James didn't have my CDs. I was not a happy puppy. I got my hair put away, dressed, and got to campus in about half an hour. Kat finished watching Jeanne and then met me there. I poked around with various people, asked James again about the CDs... asked the CIE office again about the CDs... asked the computer lab about CDs... FAILURE.
So, Kat showed up, and we walked down to Tsutaya... where the lady explained that I needed a police number... even if I just wanted to pay for the CDs...
So, back to the CIE we went, and Kat checked email while I talked with the CIE office about perhaps needed a translator to go to the police. The Cie lady called Tsutaya. I didn't actually need to go... in fact, I just needed to pay for it... but I used the wrong verb... so now I have to go back and try again. What pisses me off is not so much that I've lost the CDs... not even that it was someone else who lost them for me... but that he failed to rip mp3s of the second disc... leaving me without even a full copy of the album that I'm paying full-price+ for. And worse, it was the disc with Olivie's monologue... it makes me want to curse.
Anyway, at 4:30 we were back at the seminar house and met Ngai-san and went to his host mother's house. She's an awesome lady and we ate /so/ much food. Wow.
Then we walked down to Makino and met everyone in the GIANT karaoke room. By "everyone" I mean Tammy, Jen, Maryann, Felix (the Japanese guy)... and about 15 other people I didn't know. It was awesomely fun, and we got ahold of Tim just after we arrived, so he came down as well. We got to sing some of our traditional songs, and heard many new ones. Kat and I had lots of fun contemplating bishounen covered in mud and or water, and the benefits of each. I got to sing a nice string of songs with Tammy and Jen ("Rage Your Dream", "You Got Game?", "EDEN") followed by "Real Emotion" with Kat and Tim (and others drifting in and out). I even got to dance a little in later songs... *うれしいわ~* Right about 1, "Still Time" finally came up for me and Kat, so we finished on that note a took off. Talked a lot with Tim on the way home. I've missed him. *hugs*

Now, I really need to go to bed. We're waking up early to go to Aoi-Matsuri in Kyoto tomorrow, so I need sleep. And with no CD player, I fear my odds of my brain giving up of angsting over the frelling CDs is about nil... *sigh* Whatever.
...Jen and Tammy still haven't come home... I wonder how late they'll be out?

Current Bishounen: Tezuka's musical actor (if I were to describe even vaguely the things I'd like to do to that man... I'd have to censor this entry. ^_~)
