I've actually been waiting for a meme like that since I joined fandom in ... January, I guess? So it's nice to meet you all.
So I guess I'll put a little more info about me here than is in my first post.
I'm Rachel. I used to have blue and purple hair but now I look like this:
I'm a senior in high school, 18 years old, and plan to go to a liberal arts college next year. I live on the east coast of the USA.
I am bisexual and have been with my amazing girlfriend for four years!
Now for some interests:
Manga/Anime I like: The Twelve Kingdoms, Haibane Renmei, After School Nightmare, Death Note, Petshop of Horrors, Azumanga Daioh, Pita Ten, Godchild, Loveless
Books I like: Harry Potter series, A Song of Ice and Fire, Winds of the Forelands series
Movies I like: Moulin Rouge, Romeo + Juliet, The Phantom of the Opera, Serenity, Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog (+commentary)
Shows I like: FIREFLY, Dollhouse, Buffy, Angel (currently on end of first season), Merlin, Game of Thrones
Music I like: I like a lot, but my absolute favorites are Steven Wilson, Porcupine Tree, Blackfield, Ayreon, Guilt Machine, deadman (japanese rock), Utada Hikaru, and Imogen Heap.
That's all I can think of about all that for now.

I myself have struggled with depression and anxiety since I was 12 years old and right now am going through a bit of a rough patch, but I'm starting to get better. The weather is really nice today and it's absolutely perfect outside right now at 9 pm.
