various types of goofing around

Feb 03, 2023 14:36

Thanks, Rinkya! (who bought the Kumamon cookies for us, pictured here with my cup of Blendy)

I didn't get this posted until Feb. 1st, but it was drawn while it was still January. From a 12 months OTP challenge. Out of the January themes, I chose 'snow.'

I enjoyed drawing these little pictures!

K.K. in the rain, Jane in the sun, and Persy in the clouds.

Along with a week's worth of himekuri calendar cats.

Two complete weeks of January himekuri cat pages, interspersed with washi tape and stickers.  That Pride washi tape is the best type I've ever owned/used- it's sticky on the back!

And the goofball comic in the middle: "Apocalypse Cat Box" 1/30/2023

panel 1 - I am sitting at the computer. (the arrow pointing to me says, "working at the computer")  The textbox explains: "We've recently acquired a 4th cat box."
(the in-between text dubs me as "(dressed in what my mom had dubbed my "Golden Kamuy" outfit) (essentially it's the cap and a big scarf)

panel 2 - all text: "There are 2 catboxes in the dining room.  There is a 3rd in my parents' closet.  "Where did the 4th go?" you ask."

panel 3 - me still at the computer, but mostly just my hat at the height of the computer screen.  "Where previously stood our Christmas tree.  In the living room. (beside my dad's cushy chair)  If I turn back from my chair I can see it.

panel 4 - me with wide eyes.  "We've had it for a few weeks now.  BUT THIS MORNING"

panel 5 - "It went ATOMIC" (the shape of the text bubble behind me is meant to be semi-mushroom-cloud-shaped)  "I had to cover my nose with my scarf"

panel 6 - "Help me Obi-Pa Kenobi, you're my only hope." (I am still holding my scarf over my nose)  "Huh?" says "my dad," who I describe here as "a chronic non-hearer"

*Don't worry.  The whole affair was salvaged quite efficiently.

[filler tag for daniel], the conductor, being for the benefit of mr. kimblee, notable individual: my dad, drawings, girl and the sea, himekuri cats calendar, comics
