Special Note: The meaning of isekai.
“I” means “other” and “sekai” means “world”. Its about having a character being transported to another world, usually through a soul/spirit transfer. Another world could be a different world, dimension, universe, reality such as a video game.
Means of transportation include death of the Female Lead/Male Lead dying in their original world. Or they do a full body transport into the new realm.

Elise examined her surroundings as best she could as she was almost squeezed to death in another hug from Hildy. The woman was old, judging by the iron gray hair that was neatly coiffed in one of those little white caps with the ribbons tickling her face.
“Hildy,” she said hesitantly. “You’re squeezing my ribs!” The last word ended in a relieved grunt as Hildy finally let go with a startled gasp.
“Oh! Please do forgive me, milady! I was just so happy to see you awake finally after so long asleep you were!” Hildy used one of the ends of the white ribbon to dab at her eyes to quell the tears that were threatening to fall down her round cheeks.
Elise gave a strained smile and shook her head gently, she just could not get used to the new voice that was coming from her, or rather, this Lady Kiraz’s mouth. It was decades younger than hers at least, and lyrical, and sweet. ‘Like a Disney princess,’ she thought with a wince.
“No, you're fine, no need to apologize,” she said hastily as Hildy drew herself up to her petite height of what has to be less than five feet tall. “No, no! It was so improper for me to embrace you so, even if my dearest wish was finally made true!”
Elise could tell this was not something she was going to win so she just gave an uncomfortable smile and just nodded.
Sighing hard she rubbed her forehead as she could feel an ache coming on so soon after waking. Of course this set the elderly maid off into a tizzy and she had to put that fire out ASAP. And now that Hildy was once again placated, she had to start prying for information in such a way that Hildy wouldn't be suspicious of her charge.
“Hildy,” she paused as she nibbled her lower lip carefully. “How.. How long was I sick for? Asleep?” she hastily added.
Tears sprang to the plump old woman’s watery blue eyes again, “You, you were sick for two weeks prior to going to sleep. It were awful, ma’am. You lost more weight, you were most thin to begin with, and only got thinner with your illness.” Hildy paused as she wiped her tears away with the ends of the ribbons again. “And then… and then..,” the old woman finally burst into tears. Alarmed Elise leapt out of bed and nearly toppled over from the weakness in her limbs.
Hildy made a sound of distress that was echoed by several other voices as they burst through the doors of her lavish room. Two more people came rushing over and Hildy left her to their care.
“Oh, my dear daughter! You’ve finally returned to us!” exclaimed a beautiful woman with raven black hair, green eyes like fresh Summer grass, and a voice that would encourage the birds to sing should they hear it. Elise grimaced again as she was hugged unto death only to get the same treatment from the older man that came in with the woman, presumably Lady Kiraz’s parents. He was blonde and blue eyed with a robust mustache and a wooly, yet neatly trimmed beard. Now she was curious how Lady Kiraz looked. Judging by the genetics in front of her, she had to be beautiful.
It would be the first time in her life(?) that she would be beautiful.
Neither one of the people presumed to be this Lady Kiraz’s parents looked to be very old. Just how young did they have their daughter and just how old was she supposed to be? The ick rose up in her throat because it most likely meant child marriage since the two of them seemed to be the same age, or near enough.
After her “parents” were done fussing over her and she did the same song and dance for them as she did Hildy, she let out a sigh as they sniffled their way out of her room. She was so fucking exhausted and she only just woke up forty minutes ago.
As the door opened once again she sat up straight as a large tray was brought over to her. A steaming bowl of clear soup, a small teapot, teacup, and tea plate were arranged neatly on it.
Her mouth watered and her belly let out a ferocious sound. As it died down she could feel her cheeks heat up as well as her ears and neck.
How embarrassing!!
Hildy chuckled as she poured a steaming cup of a delicate tea she has not smelled before, tickled her hungry belly and it let out another plaintive call. Obviously it has been a while since both this lady, and herself, had eaten in a while and everything on that tray looked and smelled divine.
“There, there, my lady. ‘Tis fine you have such a healthy appetite upon awakening to us. It's been nigh on a month since you went into the coma the doctor told us you were in. We spoon fed you broth of beef, chicken, and vegetables to keep your nutrients up. The doctor said that would be the best way. It wouldn’t put meat on your bones, but it would keep you as healthy as possible while you slept and healed.”
Elise froze like a deer in the headlights as she took in all that information. She was so shocked that she didn’t notice her hand was shaking, even when she spilled broth all down the front of her snow white gown.
“A-a month?!” she gasped hoarsely when she finally found her voice again. “How, how could anyone survive that long asleep and not die?!” Her voice rose in pitch towards the end.
Hildy tilted her head just a bit. “Well, you know, milady, we fed you as proper as possible and had the holy priests here twice a week to aid you. Same as anyone would get that can afford such luxury.”
Now there are priests that can heal people?! Where in the fuck did she go?!
