Update
My life seems to be taking a turn for the better, even if it involves a lot more work than I'm happy about.
I got a weekend job at Somerfields, restocking the meat and dairy aisles. It's fifteen hours in total, which is good as it's not too strenuous, and on top of the £10-15 a week I get for teaching and helping my parents with the housework, I will now recieve a weekly pay packet of £92.80 ^__^
My English tuition is going very well. The critical approaches module is a little daunting, but I think I'm getting the hang of it; it's a matter of confidence, really. The conversation techniques/Shakespeare module is a lot easier, and my tutor (who tutored JK Rowling) was impressed with me! Yayz!
I've now (finally) decided to pursue mathematics as my second A2 at college, to make up the hours for the finance thingy. Private tuition for the AS should start soon, and I'm actually quite excited. I got an A for maths at GCSE, and I love it; I was very stupid giving it up, so I'm psyched that I've got a chance to study it further!
I should really find a driving instructor soon - my parents are going away in the summer and, without a car, the only form of transport I can use is a taxi, which over the course of the fortnight will become very expensive.
No music grades to work for any more, so I can just piss about with my instruments and play duets with my teacher in my lessons ^_^ It's been a while since lessons have been truly fun. My teacher has also put me down for three gigs in September/October. We get to dress up AND it's £120 a time! That's £360 in three days! SCORE!
