My 10-year LJversary was on December 28th. And it completely passed me by!

While posting about a new Appreciation Fest over at serpentinelion, I was looking back to see where I first posted (hd-boardgame and dracoharry100) and realised that I've been on LJ since December 2006 - ten years ago

How come I've never heard of H/D Boardgame? :) What was it?

It was awesome. The best way to get a good idea of what the H/D Boardgame was is to go to the comm to see it - you make your way around the board and write different types of drabbles, all based on the week's theme. It was so much fun and it forced you to go outside your comfort zone (e.g. to advance, you must write a drabble that is crack, smut, angst, etc.)

Sadly, the one who created it left LJ and she didn't give permission to continue on with her game. :(
