What in the hell

Wendy should have kept her mouth shut... Jethro (or Rufus....) is quite happy here, and we are all quite attached. Yes, I would like to get him back to his owners, but I really don't want to as well. We have all really become attached to him.

If his owners roommate knew that one of the cats was let out then he should have looked for him. We had ads up for him and everything. It was pretty traumatizing on him to travel over the mountains, he absolutely hated it. He wouldn't stop meowing through the whole trip. I don't want to put him through that again. Also, we won't be able to make the three hour journey to Ellensburg. We don't have the money or the time.

Bringing him to Seattle on PAX weekend wouldn't work either. One, my parents aren't driving me in seattle. I am walking on a bus, then a ferry, then taking a taxi. That is no place for a cat who already does not like to travel at all. Then, carrying the empty dog carrier would not be fun. You would not be seeing a very happy Kelsi.

My mom said that once he calls me (I told Wendy to give my number to Jethro's owner) to tell him that he can either come over here to pick him up, cause we won't be able to make it over there at all, or Jethro has a new home that he loves.

And he seems to really like our home, too.

My parents don't want to get another cat. They already really like him, and all that. Anyway, I should stop thinking about it, and just deal with it when he calls me (probably tomorrow).
