Excitement and depression, at the same time....
Excitement because of PAX. I SOOOO Can't wait for it.
Depression because Rick is not doing good at all. I saw him a few days ago, and he looked better than I thought he would, but he took another turn for the worse. The docs give him three weeks tops, but we think it will be less than a week. His daughter and Linda (his wife) are hoping it will happen sooner cause he is just suffering right now.
Background: Rick is as close as an uncle to me, and he was diagnosed with cancer in his lungs, lymphnoids and liver last fall/winter. He was doing pretty good with the chemo around x-mas time, but since then has gone down hill.
So yeah, depressed because of that. I don't want him to leave, but I don't want him to suffer any more at the same time.
