Eh, if I stay on till Nov. 30 (the day it closes) I get a whole 3 weeks pay as a severance package. I think I may stay on, if only because the whole house thing is easier if I'm not shifting jobs as well, and because they have an outside career counselling agency coming in that I wouldn't mind having use of. I also haven't decided if I want to find another job, or use my EI benefits to go back to school at the start of the winter term.

I'm not actually out of work until the end of November. I realize the post doesn't make that clear, but I was rather in shock at the time.
