Dear Morons Downstairs;
Your neighbours downstairs have complained to you about your noise level. Many of your fellow tenants, myself included, have complained to the superintendent about your noise level. The superintendent has complained to you about your noise level. Yet you do nothing to remedy this problem, instead getting even louder. Just because it's during the day, not after ten o'clock at night (our building's quiet time), does not mean you can turn your bass up enough that it echoes through the whole building, and the floor in the lobby (which is next to your unit, granted) vibrates. My floor vibrates, as does my furniture, and objects on my living room shelves! Even if I stand as far back in my apartment as I physically can from the centre of greatest vibration, the floor still vibrates! Daytime or not, that's too loud. We've been nice, we've been sympathetic towards you since you have a loud and irritating small child, and no one wants to get young parents booted from their residence. If I'd wanted to, I could've had you booted before Christmas, but I'm trying to avoid being the type of tenant who treats the entire building like their own individual house, and so did not call in about the stereo, TV, and partying at all hours of the day and night. I'm only one of eleven units, and to be honest, you weren't really that bad to start with.
However. After being exposed to your incredibly loud stereo for the third time this week (and one of those WAS after ten!), and finding out that it was YOU that had those loud loud parties on the lawn my apartment fronts on, between eleven and twelve thirty every night last summer, I've had enough. You won't listen to the super? Fine. I'm calling the landlord, and you're getting a written warning. Keep it the fuck down.
No love,
Your irritated neighbour
P.S. Twice in one day? Yeah, I called them. You're getting a love note [the landlord's secretary's words!] in the mail. Best to smarten up after you ge the note, because we're all on a three-strikes system. Sorry, but I HAVE been patient!

The problem with updating my site yesterday seems to have been with my FTP program rather than with Angelfire - at least, more so with my FTP program. To this end, I've downloaded a shiiiny new version of it. Mmm, new software. Maybe this'll actually motivated me to update my site more often.
I've noticed that I'm not getting all of my LJ comment notifications, which usually means, since I forward much of my mail through my domain e-mail, that something is screwy on AF's end. Ah well. This has happened before, and it's always shown up eventually. I'm not ignoring you.
