Some days, it seems like a good idea to answer craigslist personals ads.
I mean, I usually read them for the amusement value (NYC has the best ones), but sometimes I get the urge to seriously answer them. This urge overcame me two nights ago, and now I've got a reply. So, maybe I'll have a date this week with another Seattle transplant. Maybe I won't. You never know with craigslist people (personals, musical, or anything else).
Maybe I should seriously try a dating service, but I really don't like the whole aspect where you have to sign up in order to see how the services work. I get really annoyed by the eHarmony commercial that are all, "It's all right to look" and tell you that you can check out their people without signing up . . . what they really mean is apparently that there's a free trial or something. I don't know, because you have to give them your email and other information in order to see anything, which isn't the same as being able to check things out without signing up. I want to play with your site before I sign up for it, people. Honestly!
